Praying in the Spirit is a simple reminder to us of the ground and character of our prayer. Prayer is spiritual activity. We pray as ones indwelt and animated by the Spirit. We pray in communion and cooperation with the Spirit. To pray in the Spirit is to pray in fellowship with Christ who dwells in us by his Spirit. The Holy Spirit enlivens our prayer.
